Sour 10 ml bottle Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the budget shortlist
Sour in Asunción: 8 units tested over 3 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
Where buyers go wrong with sour in Asunción
We run sour the same way in Asunción: same 10 ml bottle, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs2.11 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the 10 ml bottle you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour 10 ml bottle really costs in Asunción
A sour 10 ml bottle from the budget options in Asunción costs about Gs2.11 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested sour in a 10 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sour goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Asunción survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Paraguay sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Paraguay need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
