Pear pen device Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the order shortlist
Pear in Asunción: 17 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
Ordering Jouza Hookah to Asunción: the practical version
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs2.28 per 10 ml.
Pear in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Asunción the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear pen device really costs in Asunción
We run pear the same way in Asunción: same pen device, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested pear in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Paraguay, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where pear goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in Asunción survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Asunción accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised Gs50 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs2.28 per 10 ml.
