Guava starter kit Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the guide shortlist
Guava in Asunción: 9 units tested over 6 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
Coil life, liquid cost and the guava habit
Guava starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run guava the same way in Asunción: same starter kit, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long guava tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a guava starter kit really costs in Asunción
The honest read on guava: 9 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested guava in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every guava bottle shipped into Asunción.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where guava goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why guava tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Asunción stocks.
- Mixing guava with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
