The honest read on cherry: 24 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: cherry in Asunción works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cherry box mod really costs in Asunción
Cherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs3.4 per 10 ml.
How we tested cherry in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into Asunción.
- Batch code and production date, so a cherry bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Asunción accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised Gs47 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs3.4 per 10 ml.
- Mixing cherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
