Candy pen device Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the review shortlist
Candy in Asunción: 12 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
Coil life, liquid cost and the candy habit
A candy pen device from the reviewed options in Asunción costs about Gs1.82 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Candy in Asunción reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long candy tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a candy pen device really costs in Asunción
The honest read on candy: 12 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested candy in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every candy bottle shipped into Asunción.
Where candy goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why candy tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised Gs43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs1.82 per 10 ml.

Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On candy the budget price and the premium price can sit within Gs1.82 per 10 ml once 5–10 business days is counted.
Why does candy taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the candy blend itself harsh.
