Vanilla squonk mod Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the online shortlist
Vanilla in Asunción: 8 units tested over 3 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
Delivery, returns and what 5–10 business days really means
A vanilla squonk mod from the online options in Asunción costs about Gs2.51 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Vanilla in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Asunción the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: vanilla in Asunción works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla squonk mod really costs in Asunción
Vanilla in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Asunción the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested vanilla in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Paraguay, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing vanilla with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Asunción accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should vanilla start at?
Start at whatever Paraguay allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
How long does vanilla in a squonk mod last?
In Asunción we measured 3 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On vanilla the budget price and the premium price can sit within Gs2.51 per 10 ml once 5–10 business days is counted.
