What a vanilla RDA really costs in Asunción
Vanilla in Asunción reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested vanilla in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Paraguay, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Asunción accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Paraguay sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does vanilla in a RDA last?
In Asunción we measured 3 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Asunción: about Gs1.77 per 10 ml liquid plus Gs62 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
