Tropical starter kit Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the cheap shortlist — Asuncionjouza
Tropical in Asunción: 12 units tested over 6 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
Choosing a starter kit for tropical
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs2.4 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at tropical in Asunción, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: tropical in Asunción works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical starter kit really costs in Asunción
A tropical starter kit from the cheapest options in Asunción costs about Gs2.4 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested tropical in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised Gs60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs2.4 per 10 ml.
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Wholesale lines to Paraguay need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
