Tropical in Asunción: 14 units tested over 3 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
What the label on Tropical is allowed to say
The honest read on tropical: 14 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Tropical in Asunción reaches the shelf in 30 ml shortfill formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: tropical in Asunción works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical 30 ml shortfill really costs in Asunción
Tropical in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Asunción the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested tropical in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Asunción survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here

Paraguay has a light regulatory footprint and flexible courier options.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within Gs2.06 per 10 ml once 5–10 business days is counted.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever Paraguay allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 30 ml shortfill.
