Tobacco refill pack Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the deals shortlist
Tobacco in Asunción: 19 units tested over 8 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
Coil life, liquid cost and the tobacco habit
The honest read on tobacco: 19 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Tobacco refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: tobacco in Asunción works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tobacco refill pack really costs in Asunción
Tobacco prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs2.24 per 10 ml.
How we tested tobacco in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tobacco tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised Gs38 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs2.24 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How long does tobacco in a refill pack last?
In Asunción we measured 8 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does tobacco taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the tobacco blend itself harsh.
How much does a refill pack cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Asunción: about Gs2.24 per 10 ml liquid plus Gs38 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
