What the label on Tobacco is allowed to say
If you are looking at tobacco in Asunción, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The honest read on tobacco: 22 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long tobacco tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tobacco pen device really costs in Asunción
Tobacco in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Asunción the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested tobacco in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Paraguay, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Gs61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs2.25 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tobacco in Asunción survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tobacco tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Paraguay need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Paraguay sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does tobacco taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the tobacco blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tobacco the budget price and the premium price can sit within Gs2.25 per 10 ml once 5–10 business days is counted.
How long does tobacco in a pen device last?
In Asunción we measured 8 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
