Tobacco mesh tank Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the flat shortlist
Tobacco in Asunción: 21 units tested over 5 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
What the label on Tobacco is allowed to say
A tobacco mesh tank from the flat-rate options in Asunción costs about Gs2.72 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Tobacco prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs2.72 per 10 ml.
The short version: tobacco in Asunción works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tobacco mesh tank really costs in Asunción
Ordering into Asunción usually means waiting 5–10 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested tobacco in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Asunción stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
