Tobacco cartomizer Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the review shortlist
Tobacco in Asunción: 16 units tested over 8 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
How we tested Tobacco cartomizer here
Tobacco prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs2.11 per 10 ml.
Ordering into Asunción usually means waiting 5–10 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long tobacco tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tobacco cartomizer really costs in Asunción
Tobacco in Asunción reaches the shelf in cartomizer formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested tobacco in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tobacco bottle shipped into Asunción.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Paraguay, not a suggestion.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing tobacco with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Paraguay need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Paraguay sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should tobacco start at?
Start at whatever Paraguay allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
Do you ship tracked orders to Asunción?
Yes, tracked to 5–10 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does tobacco taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the tobacco blend itself harsh.
