Sweet squonk mod Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the budget shortlist
Sweet in Asunción: 7 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
How we tested Sweet squonk mod here
Sweet sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
There is no single best way to buy Jouza Hookah in Asunción. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: sweet in Asunción works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sweet squonk mod really costs in Asunción
Sweet prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs2.29 per 10 ml.
How we tested sweet in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into Asunción.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Paraguay, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing sweet with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised Gs54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs2.29 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should sweet start at?
Start at whatever Paraguay allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Asunción: about Gs2.29 per 10 ml liquid plus Gs54 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
