Sweet pen device Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the cheap shortlist
Sweet in Asunción: 9 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sweet habit
Sweet prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs2.47 per 10 ml.
We run sweet the same way in Asunción: same pen device, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: sweet in Asunción works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sweet pen device really costs in Asunción
Ordering into Asunción usually means waiting 5–10 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested sweet in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into Asunción.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sweet tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Asunción stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Paraguay has a light regulatory footprint and flexible courier options.
Wholesale lines to Paraguay need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Asunción: about Gs2.47 per 10 ml liquid plus Gs64 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should sweet start at?
Start at whatever Paraguay allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
How long does sweet in a pen device last?
In Asunción we measured 5 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
