Coil life, liquid cost and the sourcherry habit
If you are looking at sourcherry in Asunción, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
A sourcherry box mod from the discounted options in Asunción costs about Gs1.99 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: sourcherry in Asunción works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry box mod really costs in Asunción
If you are looking at sourcherry in Asunción, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested sourcherry in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into Asunción.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sourcherry tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised Gs68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs1.99 per 10 ml.
- Mixing sourcherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
