Sour starter kit Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the guide shortlist
Sour in Asunción: 18 units tested over 6 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
What sour costs in Asunción
Sour in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Asunción the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs3.47 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour starter kit really costs in Asunción
A sour starter kit from the starter options in Asunción costs about Gs3.47 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested sour in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Paraguay, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sour goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Asunción accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Asunción survives.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Asunción stocks.

Frequently asked questions
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Asunción: about Gs3.47 per 10 ml liquid plus Gs66 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does sour in a starter kit last?
In Asunción we measured 6 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
