Sour prefilled pod Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the cheap shortlist
Sour in Asunción: 8 units tested over 3 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
If you are looking at sour in Asunción, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Sour sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour prefilled pod really costs in Asunción
Sour sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested sour in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
Where sour goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in Asunción stocks.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for sour in Asunción must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Paraguay sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Asunción: about Gs2.33 per 10 ml liquid plus Gs40 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sour the budget price and the premium price can sit within Gs2.33 per 10 ml once 5–10 business days is counted.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
