How we tested Sour mesh tank here
The honest read on sour: 23 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run sour the same way in Asunción: same mesh tank, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: sour in Asunción works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour mesh tank really costs in Asunción
A sour mesh tank from the reviewed options in Asunción costs about Gs3.05 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested sour in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Asunción.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sour goes wrong
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Asunción stocks.

Retail sales in Paraguay sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Paraguay need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is sour legal to sell in Paraguay?
Paraguay has a light regulatory footprint and flexible courier options.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sour the budget price and the premium price can sit within Gs3.05 per 10 ml once 5–10 business days is counted.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
