Salted mesh tank Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the online shortlist
Salted in Asunción: 13 units tested over 7 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
A salted mesh tank from the online options in Asunción costs about Gs3.17 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run salted the same way in Asunción: same mesh tank, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: salted in Asunción works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted mesh tank really costs in Asunción
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs3.17 per 10 ml.
How we tested salted in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Paraguay, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where salted goes wrong
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Paraguay need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for salted in Asunción must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
