Plum starter kit Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the review shortlist
Plum in Asunción: 15 units tested over 4 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
Delivery, returns and what 5–10 business days really means
The honest read on plum: 15 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run plum the same way in Asunción: same starter kit, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: plum in Asunción works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum starter kit really costs in Asunción
Most people searching Jouza Hookah in Asunción are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested plum in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Asunción survives.
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Asunción: about Gs2.27 per 10 ml liquid plus Gs58 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
