Plum pod kit Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the review shortlist
Plum in Asunción: 14 units tested over 5 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
How to tell a good pod kit from a repack
The honest read on plum: 14 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Plum sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: plum in Asunción works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum pod kit really costs in Asunción
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs2.28 per 10 ml.
How we tested plum in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Paraguay, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into Asunción.
Where plum goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Asunción survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for plum in Asunción must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Paraguay sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
How long does plum in a pod kit last?
In Asunción we measured 5 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Can I order Jouza Hookah online in Asunción?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 5–10 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
