Plum box mod Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the budget shortlist
Plum in Asunción: 20 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plum habit
Plum box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs3.39 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum box mod really costs in Asunción
Plum sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested plum in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Paraguay, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where plum goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Asunción survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Paraguay need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Paraguay has a light regulatory footprint and flexible courier options. Shipping of nicotine to Asunción runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
