Plain starter kit Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the online shortlist
Plain in Asunción: 23 units tested over 6 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
How to tell a good starter kit from a repack
Plain in Asunción reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs1.72 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain starter kit really costs in Asunción
Plain in Asunción reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested plain in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where plain goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Gs53 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs1.72 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Asunción stocks.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Paraguay need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for plain in Asunción must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should plain start at?
Start at whatever Paraguay allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Asunción: about Gs1.72 per 10 ml liquid plus Gs53 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
