Plain squonk mod Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the guide shortlist
Plain in Asunción: 7 units tested over 5 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
How to tell a good squonk mod from a repack
Plain in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Asunción the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Plain sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: plain in Asunción works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain squonk mod really costs in Asunción
Plain squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested plain in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Asunción.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where plain goes wrong
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Asunción stocks.
- Treating the advertised Gs45 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs3.14 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Asunción: about Gs3.14 per 10 ml liquid plus Gs45 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does plain in a squonk mod last?
In Asunción we measured 5 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should plain start at?
Start at whatever Paraguay allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
