Plain prefilled pod Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the order shortlist
Plain in Asunción: 16 units tested over 3 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
How we tested Plain prefilled pod here
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs2.49 per 10 ml.
We run plain the same way in Asunción: same prefilled pod, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: plain in Asunción works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain prefilled pod really costs in Asunción
Ordering into Asunción usually means waiting 5–10 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested plain in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plain goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in Asunción stocks.
- Treating the advertised Gs66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs2.49 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
