Plain prefilled pod Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the deals shortlist
Plain in Asunción: 17 units tested over 4 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
What plain costs in Asunción
Plain in a prefilled pod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Asunción the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
We run plain the same way in Asunción: same prefilled pod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: plain in Asunción works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain prefilled pod really costs in Asunción
Plain prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested plain in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Asunción.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plain goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised Gs63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs2.0 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Paraguay has a light regulatory footprint and flexible courier options. Shipping of nicotine to Asunción runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Asunción: about Gs2.0 per 10 ml liquid plus Gs63 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plain the budget price and the premium price can sit within Gs2.0 per 10 ml once 5–10 business days is counted.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
