Pear squonk mod Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the deals shortlist
Pear in Asunción: 23 units tested over 5 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
How to tell a good squonk mod from a repack
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs2.9 per 10 ml.
A pear squonk mod from the discounted options in Asunción costs about Gs2.9 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear squonk mod really costs in Asunción
Pear in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Asunción the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested pear in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Paraguay, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where pear goes wrong
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Asunción accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for pear in Asunción must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order Jouza Hookah online in Asunción?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 5–10 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever Paraguay allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
