Mint refill pack Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the cheap shortlist
Mint in Asunción: 24 units tested over 3 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
Coil life, liquid cost and the mint habit
The honest read on mint: 24 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
A mint refill pack from the cheapest options in Asunción costs about Gs3.03 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mint refill pack really costs in Asunción
Mint in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Asunción the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested mint in a refill pack
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Asunción.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where mint goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Gs29 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs3.03 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
