Mint RDA Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the budget shortlist
Mint in Asunción: 20 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
Coil life, liquid cost and the mint habit
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs2.09 per 10 ml.
Mint sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: mint in Asunción works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint RDA really costs in Asunción
A mint RDA from the budget options in Asunción costs about Gs2.09 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested mint in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where mint goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in Asunción survives.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Asunción stocks.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
