Mint in Asunción: 13 units tested over 5 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
What the label on Mint is allowed to say
Mint pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run mint the same way in Asunción: same pod kit, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a mint pod kit really costs in Asunción
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs2.83 per 10 ml.
How we tested mint in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Paraguay, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where mint goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Asunción accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should mint start at?
Start at whatever Paraguay allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On mint the budget price and the premium price can sit within Gs2.83 per 10 ml once 5–10 business days is counted.
