Ordering Jouza Hookah to Asunción: the practical version
Mint cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs1.85 per 10 ml.
The short version: mint in Asunción works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint cartomizer really costs in Asunción
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs1.85 per 10 ml.
How we tested mint in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Asunción.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where mint goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Asunción stocks.

Wholesale lines to Paraguay need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should mint start at?
Start at whatever Paraguay allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Asunción: about Gs1.85 per 10 ml liquid plus Gs43 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
