Licorice starter kit Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the deals shortlist — Asuncionjouza
Licorice in Asunción: 9 units tested over 9 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
Coil life, liquid cost and the licorice habit
Licorice starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run licorice the same way in Asunción: same starter kit, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a licorice starter kit really costs in Asunción
Licorice in Asunción reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested licorice in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing licorice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
Why does licorice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the licorice blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On licorice the budget price and the premium price can sit within Gs2.78 per 10 ml once 5–10 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should licorice start at?
Start at whatever Paraguay allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
