Licorice 30 ml shortfill Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the flat shortlist — Asuncionjouza
Licorice in Asunción: 15 units tested over 4 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
What the label on Licorice is allowed to say
We run licorice the same way in Asunción: same 30 ml shortfill, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Licorice sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice 30 ml shortfill really costs in Asunción
Licorice in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Asunción the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested licorice in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why licorice tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised Gs64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs2.1 per 10 ml.
- Mixing licorice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
Why does licorice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the licorice blend itself harsh.
How long does licorice in a 30 ml shortfill last?
In Asunción we measured 4 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Asunción: about Gs2.1 per 10 ml liquid plus Gs64 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
