Lemon squonk mod Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the review shortlist
Lemon in Asunción: 7 units tested over 3 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
How we tested Lemon squonk mod here
Lemon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs3.07 per 10 ml.
Lemon in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Asunción the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long lemon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lemon squonk mod really costs in Asunción
Lemon in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Asunción the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested lemon in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lemon bottle shipped into Asunción.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lemon tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Asunción accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Paraguay sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Paraguay need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does lemon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the lemon blend itself harsh.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Asunción: about Gs3.07 per 10 ml liquid plus Gs61 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does lemon in a squonk mod last?
In Asunción we measured 3 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
