What a lemon pen device really costs in Asunción
Lemon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs3.38 per 10 ml.
How we tested lemon in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised Gs36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs3.38 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
