Iced in Asunción: 20 units tested over 3 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
How to tell a good sub-ohm kit from a repack
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs3.15 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at iced in Asunción, the first question is not strength. It is whether the sub-ohm kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced sub-ohm kit really costs in Asunción
We run iced the same way in Asunción: same sub-ohm kit, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested iced in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into Asunción.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where iced goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing iced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
