Ordering Jouza Hookah to Asunción: the practical version
The honest read on iced: 10 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run iced the same way in Asunción: same sub-ohm kit, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: iced in Asunción works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a iced sub-ohm kit really costs in Asunción
The honest read on iced: 10 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested iced in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Paraguay, not a suggestion.
Where iced goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Gs54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs2.77 per 10 ml.
- Mixing iced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On iced the budget price and the premium price can sit within Gs2.77 per 10 ml once 5–10 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should iced start at?
Start at whatever Paraguay allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
