Iced prefilled pod Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the flat shortlist
Iced in Asunción: 11 units tested over 6 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
Where buyers go wrong with iced in Asunción
We run iced the same way in Asunción: same prefilled pod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Iced in a prefilled pod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Asunción the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced prefilled pod really costs in Asunción
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs3.49 per 10 ml.
How we tested iced in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a iced bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where iced goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in Asunción stocks.
- Mixing iced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On iced the budget price and the premium price can sit within Gs3.49 per 10 ml once 5–10 business days is counted.
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
