Guava pen device Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the review shortlist
Guava in Asunción: 18 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
What the label on Guava is allowed to say
Guava in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Asunción the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Guava in Asunción reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: guava in Asunción works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava pen device really costs in Asunción
The honest read on guava: 18 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested guava in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every guava bottle shipped into Asunción.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where guava goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Gs63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs3.01 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should guava start at?
Start at whatever Paraguay allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On guava the budget price and the premium price can sit within Gs3.01 per 10 ml once 5–10 business days is counted.
