Guava box mod Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the budget shortlist
Guava in Asunción: 21 units tested over 7 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
Choosing a box mod for guava
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs3.12 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at guava in Asunción, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: guava in Asunción works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava box mod really costs in Asunción
If you are looking at guava in Asunción, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested guava in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every guava bottle shipped into Asunción.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where guava goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Asunción accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised Gs42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs3.12 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why guava tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Paraguay need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Paraguay sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does guava in a box mod last?
In Asunción we measured 7 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to Asunción?
Yes, tracked to 5–10 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
