Frozen prefilled pod Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the best shortlist
Frozen in Asunción: 13 units tested over 8 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
Coil life, liquid cost and the frozen habit
We run frozen the same way in Asunción: same prefilled pod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Frozen in a prefilled pod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Asunción the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long frozen tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a frozen prefilled pod really costs in Asunción
Frozen prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs2.16 per 10 ml.
How we tested frozen in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a frozen bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Asunción accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in Asunción stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Paraguay has a light regulatory footprint and flexible courier options. Shipping of nicotine to Asunción runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On frozen the budget price and the premium price can sit within Gs2.16 per 10 ml once 5–10 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should frozen start at?
Start at whatever Paraguay allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
How long does frozen in a prefilled pod last?
In Asunción we measured 8 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
