Fig mesh tank Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the budget shortlist
Fig in Asunción: 18 units tested over 9 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
A fig mesh tank from the budget options in Asunción costs about Gs1.8 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Ordering into Asunción usually means waiting 5–10 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long fig tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a fig mesh tank really costs in Asunción
We run fig the same way in Asunción: same mesh tank, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested fig in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
Where fig goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Gs56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs1.8 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long fig in Asunción survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Asunción: about Gs1.8 per 10 ml liquid plus Gs56 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does fig in a mesh tank last?
In Asunción we measured 9 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
