Coffee sub-ohm kit Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the flat shortlist
Coffee in Asunción: 20 units tested over 3 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
What coffee costs in Asunción
We run coffee the same way in Asunción: same sub-ohm kit, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The honest read on coffee: 20 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: coffee in Asunción works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coffee sub-ohm kit really costs in Asunción
Coffee prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs2.7 per 10 ml.
How we tested coffee in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Paraguay, not a suggestion.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long coffee in Asunción survives.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised Gs35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs2.7 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for coffee in Asunción must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Paraguay sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does coffee taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the coffee blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should coffee start at?
Start at whatever Paraguay allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Asunción: about Gs2.7 per 10 ml liquid plus Gs35 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
