Coffee box mod Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the price shortlist
Coffee in Asunción: 18 units tested over 7 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
What the label on Coffee is allowed to say
Coffee in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Asunción the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Coffee prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs3.08 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long coffee tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coffee box mod really costs in Asunción
Coffee in Asunción reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested coffee in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a coffee bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Asunción stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Paraguay need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Paraguay has a light regulatory footprint and flexible courier options. Shipping of nicotine to Asunción runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should coffee start at?
Start at whatever Paraguay allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
How long does coffee in a box mod last?
In Asunción we measured 7 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On coffee the budget price and the premium price can sit within Gs3.08 per 10 ml once 5–10 business days is counted.
