Citrus refill pack Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the order shortlist
Citrus in Asunción: 23 units tested over 6 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
Where buyers go wrong with citrus in Asunción
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs2.16 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at citrus in Asunción, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus refill pack really costs in Asunción
A citrus refill pack from the pre-order options in Asunción costs about Gs2.16 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested citrus in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into Asunción.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised Gs59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs2.16 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How much does a refill pack cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Asunción: about Gs2.16 per 10 ml liquid plus Gs59 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
