Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Ordering into Asunción usually means waiting 5–10 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The honest read on citrus: 12 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a citrus pod kit really costs in Asunción
We run citrus the same way in Asunción: same pod kit, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested citrus in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Asunción: about Gs3.26 per 10 ml liquid plus Gs52 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On citrus the budget price and the premium price can sit within Gs3.26 per 10 ml once 5–10 business days is counted.
How long does citrus in a pod kit last?
In Asunción we measured 7 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
