Citrus pod kit Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the deals shortlist
Citrus in Asunción: 12 units tested over 2 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
What citrus costs in Asunción
If you are looking at citrus in Asunción, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs3.03 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus pod kit really costs in Asunción
We run citrus the same way in Asunción: same pod kit, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested citrus in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Gs58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs3.03 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
