Caramel cartomizer Jouza Hookah in Asunción: the review shortlist
Caramel in Asunción: 23 units tested over 9 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Asunción.
What the label on Caramel is allowed to say
Caramel sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs3.53 per 10 ml.
The short version: caramel in Asunción works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a caramel cartomizer really costs in Asunción
The honest read on caramel: 23 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested caramel in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 5–10 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Asunción stocks.
- Treating the advertised Gs43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs3.53 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
