What the label on Caramel is allowed to say
If you are looking at caramel in Asunción, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 30 ml shortfill you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Caramel 30 ml shortfill reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 11 units, 30 ml shortfill, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel 30 ml shortfill really costs in Asunción
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Asunción that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Gs2.23 per 10 ml.
How we tested caramel in a 30 ml shortfill
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Paraguay, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Asunción, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into Asunción.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long caramel in Asunción survives.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised Gs33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Gs2.23 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Asunción: about Gs2.23 per 10 ml liquid plus Gs33 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
How long does caramel in a 30 ml shortfill last?
In Asunción we measured 4 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
